This
unit adds Ozone (o3
gas) to the water through a air stone (included) to oxidise any
single celled organism, bacteria, and oxygenate the water.
Has a
selectable cycle of 6mins, 18mins or 30 mins.
In Hydroponics the
6 min cycle is very good for eliminating root rots.
Has similar
effect as adding Hydrogen peroxide to the water.
However this is
automatic, regular,
and eliminates adding the H2O2 Hydrogen Peroxide ever again.
This

a standard 240 Volt Australian plug for normal Australian

points on what you need to know when purchasing elsewhere, or another

You may read
that Ozone in
large doses will kill you. Water, sugar, jogging... in large doses will
also kill you. Lets
be sensible. The pools they hold the Olympic swimming in are
ozonated. Ozone reacts as a Oxidisation agent. For example,
Oxygenated Steel is rust. Chemically different. I mean that you can
make a car out of steel, but you can't make one out of rust. They are
chemically, different. So when you take steel and oxidize it, you get
rust, a different compound completely. Ozone is not a
carcinogen. Hospitals use it to sterilise their airconditioning
systems in some cases. The real issue is, that if you can smell it,
you should not sit there and keep yourself exposed for a period of
time. Why? Well, it will start to tingle in the corners of your eyes,
then after a while it might make you
want to sneeze, and then start to tickle your throat. If you continue to sit
there, and I doubt this unit has the ability to be that
concentrated, you will start to feel these symptoms reach you lungs.
If you are still thinking of sitting there, your body has given you
all the warnings you should have, and I suggest you are being silly
and have been duly warned that it will now begin to hurt
you. Ozone smells like that electrical smell from dusty old TV sets,
or electrical devices. Its quite distinct. Ozone
may not hurt fish at low levels, and reduce fin rot for instance,
and they do sell Ozone units for fish tanks,
although I don't know how to use an ozone unit in a fish tank and
suggest you don't unless you know a lot more about it than me. The
aerobic bacteria in the tank may be killed by
ozone eliminating the micro floral ecosystem ( I'm impressed with
that verbiage... I mean that you kill both the good and bad bacteria)
which keeps the tank clean.
Buy off

My name is Scott Andrew. I have a beautiful wife
called Rachel, a 15 month old baby girl called Jemma, and a white
Samoyed dog called Jadzia. I have a retail shop on
the Gold Coast, in Queensland Australia. My Hobbies are my family,
my dog, racing my Formula Vee, and playing music on guitar or keyboard I specialise in Mail order
in various areas including Hydroponics.
